The Third Session of the Fourteenth Dalian People's Congress Opens

The Third Session of the Fourteenth Dalian Peoples Congress declared grand opening in Dalian World Expo Center at 3 pm, on January 12, 2010. 440 delegates from all walks of life of Dalian attended the session. The session was hosted by Huai Zhongmin Chairman of the Session and the Presidium; Acting Mayor Li Wancai delivered the Report on the Work of the Government.

The chairmen of the Session are Xia Deren, Huai Zhongmin, Li Jingrui, Wang Chengmin, Ju Wenhua, Tian Shujun, Qian Zhongjie, and Chen Limin. Members attended the Session and sat on the rostrum are leaders of the Presidium, CPC Dalian Municipal Committee, Dalian Municipal Government, the Municipal Government, CPPCC Dalian Municipal Committee, President of Municipal Intermediate People's Procuratorate, Deputy Attorney General of Municipal Intermediate People's Procuratorate, president of Dalian Maritime Court, and the former leaders.

Delegates listened to the Report on the Implementation of 2009 Plan for Dalian Economic and Social Development, the Report on the Draft 2010 Plan for Dalian Economic and Social Development and the Report on the Implementation of Budget of Dalian for 2009 and on the Draft Budget of Dalian for 2010.
